A Cockroach can survive for Weeks even if its head is cut off. How? 

Cockroach are not dependent on their mouth or head to breathe, as they breathe through little holes in each of their body segments. Also, cockroaches do not have blood pressure the way mammals do, so cutting off the head does not lead to uncontrolled bleeding. They also need much less food. A single meal is enough to last a whole month. Eventually they die of first because Without mouth they are unable to intake water.
