What makes airplanes fly in the air ?

The plane's engine pushes the plane forward by opposing the drag caused by the air resistance. As the plane move forward, air flowing around the wings creates lift. The lift keeps on increasing with the increasing speed of the plane. As soon as the lift overcomes the face of gravity the plane takes off. When the plane goes in the air, thrust from the engine pushes the plane forward.
